Query export as Table

I am using access to manupulate a huge data set and the database is getting
really slow.

Is it possible to export the data in a query into a table in a new database.
I have tried to do it but access keeps importing as a query in the new
database.

What's "huge"? Anything under 100000 records should be trivial; up to a few
million will require proper indexing and good query design, but should be well
within Access' capabilities.
