Query displays blank record

If I do a query on a table and there are zero records
found, the query displays only a blank ROW. Ideally, I
would like this condition to display a message --
something like "Sorry... no records found" or such. Has
anyone come up with script/VB code to do this?? How have
you handled this... or doesn't the blank row irritate
your boss?? :-)

Thanks in advance.... reply to group or remove NOSPAM for
email. Have a good day.

Well... my boss doesn't see the DatsheetView of the Queries. He only see
Forms that I designed which I can make a MsgBox to appear in these cases.

Van...

Thanks for the post response.

Okay... now you've teased me. Could I coerce some
additional info on this from you?? I'm relatively new to
Access, so displaying the query results in other than a
datasheet never occurred to me.

Can I find info on this subject on the web?

And thanks again!
