Query about SP4

Do I get the feeling that the general opinion is that installing SP4 is Not
A Good Idea? Are there any specific issues it addresses? (I'm not actually
having any at the moment - SP3)
 
Well I don't have Norton either. Is Norton a common denominator in all
the
problem posts I've seen do you think?

I have sp4 AND Norton, and no crashes.

Not really. To be difinitive, you'd have to a statistical analysis. Which
is more effort than it's worth (unless you're Symantec).

Anecdotal vs an actual survey.
