query about a monitor and my graphics card

Hi,

I was looking at this But it says the resolution is 1440x900.
I have a nvidia geforce fx 5200 graphics card
will the monitor work on that graphics card at that resolution? Or will i need to get a new card?

A monitor will work on any graphics card of today (-10years) and that res will be "up-to" 1440x900 ... so, you can still play with 640x480.

Is it Sub D, DVI or both ... is the question?

Be aware ... 19" is measured diagonally ... you could get a squat little monitor, I think they are err, not very good for general PC work.

Still think a monitor should stand on its side ... tall is good, wide is a pain in the neck, literally.
