Hello, i have been searching for a solution to my problem for a while, searching through a few posts on this site i found similar problems but nothing that really would solve mine.
I have a form which is linked to my main table, i have created a querie that generates a random number that will generate a number from 1 to the max number of records in the form.
What i would like to do is to use that number from that query in a macro using the gotorecord function. my only problem is, being inexperienced with access, i do not understand what i have to put in the offset part of the argument for it to retrieve the random number that has been generated.
so far i have tried: =Querie![total and dvds seen.Random Record Number], =[Random Record Number] and a few others to try and make it work, but no luck.
