Queery speed 2003 vs XP?

Thinking up upgrading from Access XP to Access 2003. Is a change for the
better or worse expected when it comes to query speed?

Does file format matter, I'm using Access 2000 file format, but can upgrade
to 2003 if it speed things up.

There are no changes that would affect performance, only features that you
either find desirable or don't.
