I have quarentined a number of alerts about which I could find no
information. Now, removal from quarentine is grayed out. How does one remove
items deemed to be desirable?

Hi,

This is from the help menu. Maybe is more info, but I have not ge there yet
;-)

[This version of Windows Defender is still in development, so some Help
information might be inaccurate or missing.]

Remove or restore items quarantined by Windows Defender.
To complete these steps, you must be logged on as Administrator or be a
member of the Administrators group.

When Windows Defender quarantines software, it moves it to a another
location on your computer, and then prevents the software from running until
you choose to restore it or remove it from your computer.

To remove or restore quarantined items
Open Windows Defender. (Click Start, click Programs, and then click Windows
Defender.)
Click Tools, and then click Quarantined items.
Review each item and then, for each, click Remove or Restore. If you want
remove all quarantined items from your computer, click Remove All.

Warning
Do not restore software with severe or high alert ratings. If allowed to
run, these items can harm your privacy or the security of your computer.

Can't restore as the buttons are grayed out! I AM the one and only
Administrator, so I'm still puzzled.
