Hello everyone..
How long do you think it would take for the quality of the mp3s on my hard
drive to lose there quality due to hard drive wear? Lets say my comp is used
10 hours every day. Are we talking years, months or what? Any Ideas please?
TIA

Never unless the HD physically fails or the file structure becomes
corrupted, etc. The music notes do not wear out.

Your MP3's will last as long as your HD does. That may be a few years or, it
could die tomorrow. You can backup your MP3's to CD's in the MP3 format and
fit many on a disk. I have all my "store bought" CD's ripped to MP3 on my HD
and made backups as MP3's to make it quicker and easier to re-install them
"WHEN" the HD has to be replaced.

Thanks guys that's what I thought...
