Is there a way to copy VHS to computer to have a clear picture? Perhaps at
higher resolution? I can now get the video and sound to computer, even able
to save with transitions and all to VCD. BUT the copies when played
via the TV it looks out of focus, low resolution looking.
Any suggestions?

TIA

the video can only look as good as the original. now, once you compress
that video it will look worse.

The video when played, looks good.
So I can expect teh copies the look fuzzy.
What foramt do you recommend?
I DV a better way to go?

capture in a hight res 720x480 in an avi format at 3megs
a sec... this will require a lot of disk space but the
quality will be there ( as good as the sorce )the try
encodeing in vcd or svcd format that if you are trying to
burn to a regular cd ( 700 meg )
or encode in mpeg2 format ( dvd ) and burn to a dvd for

I'm using MM2 to capture the video and I can't seem to save it at your
recommended settings.
Any suggestons?
Thanks for your help!

When you get to the save menu, simply choose DV-AVI as your output file. It
is in the
drop down formats menu.

I did that, but it will not let chage the "megs per sec." it is per set.
Is there a way to change it?
