Quality of the final movie

I used MM2 several times and each time when I create the final AVI-movie
(with maximum quality) I don't get a perfect quality movie. Sound is perfect,
the picture is good, but not perfect. It has the same resolution-quality as
the original movie, but I see "artifacts" certainly with shots of quick
movements.

What is the problem here? My machine that is too slow? Or MM2 that can't
handle this quality?

Please comment or give your experience.

Thx.

I have been using MM2 for a couple of days. The quality of the AVI output
(when played on Media Player 9.0) is as good as the input. Encoding to MPEG
has been a different story though. The video quality when I play the MPEG
files in Media Player is not as good as the original. I have an HP Pavillion
notebook, 1.2 GHz Celeron, 384 Meg of RAM. My setup is probably at the low
end when compared to other folks doing video.

PC's aren't the best machines to view quality movies on, it is better to
view on a tv which is designed to handle the type of file we make. This
said, if your pc is up to spec you shouldn't have too much of a problem
viewing your movie on the pc. What are the specs of your pc? The file type
you made was a dv-avi? Where are you seeing these artefacts?
