Qualitative Analysis in Access?

Hello! I have a series of interviews that I have transcribed into Word that I want to find trends within. I am having problems finding a way to Access. I though maybe I would enter an interview as a table and then query table to table but there seems to be a 250 character limit on table columns. I have been assured that Access is the program to do such a qualatiative analysis but I can't seem to find the format or feature to analyze such a large data set. Any advice? Help :(

Michelle,
I'm not sure I understand your question but here's a
couple of thoughts.

An Accesstext field has a limit of 255 characters. An
Access memo field will hold something like 65,000
characters.

If you are having an import problem and your Word
documents are tables, copy and paste them to Excel, then
import the Excel spreadsheet(s). That import should take
those long fields as Access memo fields.

Hope this gives you a start.
