the link in the orig msg works for me, probably because i'm running OE
Quotefix with Outlook Express ... you probably need to "repair" it
because it broke across 2 lines ... i highly recommend anyone
running Outlook Express to get the latest OE Quotefix from
http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/oe-quotefix/ ... it's free, no
adware, works great

Hi. I was able to activate after installing Quote-fix (thanks for that).
Unfortunately although the bottom left of screen shows
"downloading............" and after a while changes to "done", I cannot
trace anything having happened and I have tried several times.
Your continued help and interest would be appreciated.

weird, it should open up acrobat in your browser or display a open/save
dialog.
anyway,
go here http://www.freewebs.com/futurechild/index.htm
at the left you will see the download link for this manual located unter
navigation , right click it and select save target as.
should work.........

HI.
Thanks. Some success. I left my computer on for a couple of hours and when I
came back the manual was open in my browser.
I notice that I now have 2 "pdf" files downloaded, however they are
different sizes. One is 4981KB and the other is 3660 KB. I will no doubt be
able to sort it out tomorrow.
