Last week I started getting these Adult Links/search/porno
stuff on my browser. I have since deleted the files it
placed in a favorite folder. Everytime I reboot they are
back so I decided that they must be in my registry. I
also since acquiring this problem have had 2 virus on
computer which I think are related. I have downloaded and
used the removal tool and it says it is gone.

I have found the Qcbar in my registry under the software
and there are all the links it added in the folders. I
also find in my registry the virus entries eventhough
Norton says it removed them all.

I have research on microsoft and found the Qcbar and what
and how to remove it in the registry but it says it is for
XP and can't find anything on W2000 for the Qcbar.

I did look for these files in my registry that the article
says to delete and I can't find them. Is it because I am
running 2000 and the directions are for XP?

I want to get this stuff off my computer but am afraid to
delete it for fear it will screw up my system. If I
delete the Qcbar software in the registry I don't think
that will get it all because the article shows it also in
the Root files which I can't find.

Does anyone have any solution for me?
Thank you
Melissa
