Hi~ I am teaching myself how to begin programming &
wondering if someone out there could advise how to install
QBasic. I don't have the Windows disk & it doesn't appear
to be on my machine. I have Windows XP. Any advice?

Have a look at the QBasic and Windows FAQ here
http://www.libertybasic.com/qbwindowsfaq.html which tells you where to
get QBasic from Microsoft's own public FTP server, and more useful
stuff. Have fun!
