Are these any good? I've been given one and was thinking about replacing my
Winpower PSU (until I can afford an upgrade to a decent Fortron or similar).

I had one for a while - never had any probs with it. Voltages were very
stable, although 2-3% off what they should be (well within spec though).
Not very quiet, although I think anything over 22 db's is noisy ;-)

They're not the worst out there compared to some generics but certainly
not worth 550W, perhaps a notch below a 350W Sparkle yet with the Sparkle
you're more likely to get a good fan... the rear exahaust fan is one of
the more common failure points in most generics.
