After searching the archives I have not found an answer to my specific problem
so I decided to post the question and solicit a response . . . hopefully
one that will work.
We have multiple Windows 2000 domains in place. The AD configuration is native
and there are 4 domains currently, with the posibility of more in the future.
I created a TS in the root of the forest for our home office users to access
the proprietary software installed in each of the other domains.
My problem is logon scripts. While all the scripts are similar, each domain
has a specific logon script that points to resources in THAT domain as well
as the root domain. For example, domain A has script A that sets ODBC settings
and drive mappings for their DB application. Domain B has script B that sets
ODBC settings and drive mappings for their DB application, etc.
How can I accomplish my goal of setting up the multiple users profiles without
logging into TS initially and setting up each users profile by hand.
Thanks,
