Anyone know of an MP3 player that supports Unicode filenames (Chinese,
Japanese characters)? I have tried quite a few (WinAmp, FreeAmp etc.)
without success.

WinAmp does support, you just need a "skin" that uses Unicode font...

In Winamp Preferences -> Options -> Display there's an option "Use
bitmap font for main title display (no int. support)". Maybe Victor can
try to uncheck this and see if it gets better.

Thanks for your suggestions.

As far as I could determine, WinAmp can't take filenames with
Chinese/Japanese Unicode characters if you are running English Win2k. If
I switch to the proper locale (eg. Simplified Chinese) then it works, so
it's not true Unicode support (which should be locale-independent).

I found Media Player Classic, which supports Unicode natively. It does
not have a flashy UI like the others, but it works for me.
