Hi,

I find I can't easily select an option to place a comma in numbers of
4 ditig value or higher.

In the case of mileage on cars, with no decimal points, how do I
specify it in the table and then in the form field, so the user
doesn't have to manually enter it ?

Thanks,
Jim

Set the Format property... "Standard" in the dropdown for that property may
be what you want. There is such a property for the Field in the Table, and
if the Control displaying the number doesn't "inherit" it, you can set the
Format property of the Control.

Jim,
Use the Format property on the control and use Standard. It will put the comma
in for you. Same in the table.

Hope this helps!

Larry,

Thanks, that's all that was.
Also, I had set text, after I'd tried different things, including
changing to number, and back , etc.
