Hi everyone,

I just downloaded and installed thunderbird 1.0 today.
I have a very positive feeling about the e-mail part.

But in the Newsgroup part I have a big unanswered question:
How do you combine multiple messages into one file (Like the combine
message command of Outlook Express)

The FAQ of Thunderird does not answer this question, and though I have
signed up for the bulletinboard, it seems I'll have to wait a while
before an account is created.

Thanks In advance,

I may be way off base but as far as I recall you don't. Mozilla/Thunderbird
doesn't handle multipart files at all, regardless of encoding. OTOH It does
handle single part yENC quiet well.

Thanks for your answer EJB

Indeed, single part yENC works just great. Just because of this, and
some of the more positive features of outlook express I'd realy love to
make it my default newsreader. But not handeling multipart files is a
big bummer, IM(h)O.
