Which is generally faster?

ASUS ATi X600Pro pcie 256meg or

Saphire ATi X1300 (non-pro) pcie 256meg , 128bit?

I know the X1300 is more future proof but Im wondering if it will be any
faster or even slower than the x600. Anybody try both of these cards
before?

Only one clear 'head to head':

In this test the X1300 is superiour to the X600Pro, though neither is
breaking any speed records ;-)

Thanks Tom. I bid on an X1300 on ebay and it looks like I may actually win
the damn thing. Guess Ill yank out the old X600Pro out and see if I can get
SM3 in Farcy with the 1300.

If anything, at least now I can download and use the cool video conversion
software that the 1000 series comes with.

I do not know those cards but FWIW:
I've got the X1300pro from ATI and it's been all good. Especially all the new features.

"Saphire ATi X1300 (non-pro) pcie 256meg , 128bit?"

My model is 128bit, and 600MHz, 400MHz clocks. The
current mark3d scored 1870 if that matters.

Thanks but I lost the bid. I did not want to pay $50 for a used 1300 (non
pro) anyway. Hell for about a grand I can get a brand new x1600 with a
warranty and AFAIK the X1600 is twice as fast as the 1300.

Ill keep looking. If I can't find one for a decent price then the ebayers
can smooch my butt. Ill go new or wait a little while longer for the dx10
cards.

It's not like I really need to upgrade anyway.

Thanks all.

OMG, The Saphire X1300 came in LAST PLACE! And that was the card I almost
won a bid on. Now I feel better about losing the bid.

That article rocks and is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.

Funny the 3DMark06 score was like 300 in there report.

But I have a budget HP box (a1250n) + the x1300pro and the 3DMark06 scored about 1800.

Too funny...
