PWS and XP??

I would like to exercise some ASP web files on my client
machine running XP Pro before actually publishing to my
website. I am confused though as I cannot determine if I
need to install a Personal Web Server or not?

You need to install IIS 5.1 (if you like the grown up version of PWS) aka
Internet Information Services.

Go to the Control Panel, click on Add/Remove Programs, then on Add/Remove
Windows Components.
