After numerous attempts to run Windows Update, I
continue to receive the
same Error # 0xC8000711.
Googling Error # 0xC8000711 gave me this
information from Microsoft:
»support.microsoft.com/kb/822798/···AC0ADAAA
I think what happened is the following:
As I have limited space on the C:/ drive, I have
always periodically deleted
the Edb.logs file. This is one of those files
which grows by itself,
and deleting it previously never caused a problem
until now. After previous
deletions, the Edb.logs file always re-created
itself from zero, but
this time around the file has simply not resurfaced.
Is there anyway of restoring the Edb.logs file?
Has anyone else encountered this problem before on a
Windows 2000 Pro
set-up?
Any help will be most appreciated.
