Hello, I have a DELL ME computer that is 3 years old
This equipment has a CD-RW/DVD Combination Drive and
Decoding Software for DVD-ROM Drive
what I want to do is to take my old VHS movies and put on
to a CD/DVD and be able to view them on my DVD player
What I already have is a Sony camcorder video Hi8 XR, this
is not a digital. At this time I am able to put pictures
from a Sony still digital camera onto a CD and watch the
on the computer not on the DVD viewer.
What equipment do I need to upgrade to do what I want to
do.

If its three yrs old,it might state DVD,but will not
work with current DVDs.
First switch to xp for improvement in the os,you'll need
a DVD RW,you'll need a video-in graphics card(display
adapter),at least a 30 gb hd,512 ram or better,then
the software to use the DVD.Putting pictures to a cd
requires little system wise, video is a diffrent matter.
