Putting multiple reports together

I have a report that will be huge, like 25 pages on average. I would like
to know if it is possible to break this report up into like 10 sections and
then use them to build the final product? Is this possible, if so, does
anyone have any tutorials or examples?

Thanks,
Drew Laing

A 25 page report is by no means "huge". You can use the grouping and
sorting to break it up and then include data in the group header. You could
also make multiple subreports and tie them together on one big report.

To get detailed information, you'd have to tell us what is on your report
and what you would use as your grouping.

For example, you might have data from ten different offices and would like
to separate each office into a section of its own.

Well, I guess it is huge in other ways than just the pages... The fields in
this database are pretty big, like varchar(2500) and so on. Let me see if I
can attach the current document and send it for everyone to see!

Drew

Here is a copy of the document that we are trying to develop into a database
with a report. I have built the database (SQL Server) and the interface
(ASP) but now I need to build the report. The report needs to work as
closely as possible to the old version.

I tried to attach the file, but it wouldn't work... so here it is copied and
pasted... This document is 24 pages long empty...

I don't guess I understand your question.

This looks like a questionnaire. Assuming you print it loaded with data, it
becomes a filled in questionnaire with answers to common questions. I would
think it would all relate to one person's answers, so I am not sure why you
would want to break it up.

I guess I wanted to break it up so that I could control the headers and
footers, because to my knowledge you can't add any of those (unless you
group them). So I need the headers for each page. This is the reason I
thought I would have to break it up. This report is different than any that
I've ever done, most of them just list out the data, this one lists data,
then needs a heading, then data, then heading, etc..
