I am trying to edit in a powerpoint presentation into a video using mm2. I converted the pp slides into jpegs and tried to place them onto the video where he displayed them in his original presentation and keep the original sound playing underneath. Some slides need to be on screen for at least a minute while he is describing the slide! I tried the fading overlap but this won't work because there is a sound fade at the start of the overlap?? Help! Before starting I thought this would be an easy thing to do. am I just missing it? This has to be possible I tried everything!

I'm trying to do the same thing... any ideas. I've see
this done but maybe with an expensive commerical product??

Put the audio on the audio/music track first, and then add the images to
align with the audio.... you can use the trim handle to adjust each image to
whatever duration you wish. And adding transitions won't effect the audio.
