Putting a task into calendar rather than having a list of tasks

I am using Outlook 2003 and have to arrange many task on future dates.
Rather than have them appear in a list format - I could do with them
appearing on the calendar on the day that the task has to to be done. Is
this possible and can anyone help with this. Thanks in advance

Create an appointment item and check the box to specify it as an all day
event. This will create the Calendar record item but not as an "appointed
time-specific" event. That is really the main difference a Task and an
Appointment record. A Task can be specific to a designated day but is not
necessarily intended for a specific time during that designated day. An "all
day" appointment item event is the closest thing to resembling a non-time
specific daily Task.
