drive to can get around this - but you could format it with NTFS and setup
file and folder permissions so only your user can get to things.

- It to be read natively by WIndows 2000/XP/2003/Vista machines
AND
- It to allow you to assign permissions on the files/foders so only your
user can easily obtain access...
Yes.
No other native Microsoft File System allows you to assign File/Folder
permissions the way NTFS does.
Store the device in a secure (locked, in simple terms) location
(closet, file cabinet, etc.) when not in use.
