Putting a combo box in a subform

I had created a main form with a tab contol to link to four different
subforms which are embedded in the main form. I had earlier created the
queries to make this work and it works fine. However, I decided that for
some of the fields on the subforms I wanted to have drop down lists to ease
data entry. I then replaced the text box for a field with a combo box on the
subform. However, when I open the main form again, this field is no longer
present. Is it the case that one cannot have combo boxes on subforms or am I
missing something? Help please.

A subform is a form and so yes one can have a combobox on it.

Find the subform in your Forms objects area, and in design view - verify the
property of the combobox for Visible is 'yes' - - -...

Assuming that Visible is yes; In reading your description it sounds like the
subforms are based on a query which means they are returning specific records
- - and the combobox is unbound so maybe that is the issue. But I haven't
had one just disappear on me so am not sure - others should have better
advice.....
