Hi All,
Just bought a new PC running XP Pro.
I want to put an old screensaver (the Jack Daniels
screensaver) on the new XP machine. The executable and
the install script is actually for "way back" Windows 95.
However, the executable does work fine on XP. I can
manually execute it & it runs fine.

I would like to have it show up as a selection in
the "Display Properties" -> "Screensaver" window.

Anyone know how the details on getting this implemented?

Thanks for your advice,
Alan

Hi Alan,

Check your setting for the screensavers path.

Here are some examples:

Marine Aquarium 2.scr > rename it to > MarineAquarium2.scr

In the registry, screensaver will work correctly if it is listed as so:
c:\windows\system32\marine~1.scr

Screen Savers do not work correctly if listed as so:
""c:\windows\system32\marine aquarium 2.scr""
