Hello,

I have one Domain Controller on my network and I want to
take the users accounts, the machine account, policies
etc... everything that i have in my AD I want to import to
this new machine.
The new machine will have the same name and IP as the old
machine, but the hardware was different.
How can I do this?

Tks.

Lu.
PS: My engish isn't very good.

Jerold,

Thank you for your help, but in fact I need do install a
new server and import the AD configuration, it's not a
disaster recovery, but a hardware migration. And in the
5127 in the 'Tips & Tricks' they advice that:

WARNING: This article is intended for disaster recovery of
a single domain when there are no other DCs available.
This article is not intended as a means to move DCs from
old hardware to new hardware in a multidomain environment.
It is intended for use only when disaster recovery is
required.

You have another idea?

Tks.
