I often face the problem of the Print Preview giving a wrong assessment of
the size of the document in relationship to the size of the paper in the
tray of the DeskJet 600: showing that the document to be printed fits the
size of paper being used. When actual printing is done, either the length of
the document is not fitting in or if it is a spreadheet, some columns are
not fitting in. . The Printer then wastes the stationery by printing two
sheets lenghtwise which is not too bad. But when the last few columns of a
spreadsheet are printed on a separate sheet, it is a waste and I have to
redo the whole job. I have two questions:
Why does NOT the Print Preview correctly advise if the document is exceeding
one page?
Secondly, even when I use the Start Menu Settings Printer dialogue and purge
all the unfinished jobs, redo the document and give the Print command, the
incomplete jobs with the last few columns or last few lines are printed
first, resulting in unnecessary waste of stationery.
Is there any way to overcome these problems?
