My mobile phone and my wife necklace, among other stuff, were stolen
from our friend car on the beach in Albania. I bought them last month
with my MasterCard that has Purchase Assurance theft protection plan. I

was wandering do I have any right to ask my credit card to get
reimbursment?

Use after market ink and you'll save enough to replace them in one month!

Read the policy details. Did you report the theft within the required time
limits? Did you get a crime reference number? etc etc. If yes then go for
it.

And hopefully he and his wife will avoid those nude beaches in Albania.
That's how the crooks work. They get everybody to leave their
belongings in the car and then go for the cars.

Yes. I had to do this with my Visa purchase several months back, which
was stolen from my car.

However, if your home insurance or other insurance will cover such a
loss, the credit card insurance is considered an alternative insurance
which only goes into effect if no other insurance policy you have would
be able to cover the loss.

Make sure to fill out a police report if you still can.
