How do I create a webpage to select merchandise and send a totaled invoice to
a specified email location.
 
You will need either
- custom hand written server side code and a Database
- or a Shopping cart add on

Try www.Paypal.com You can use the "invoice" feature rather than collect
money by C/Card or bank account debit.
PayPal lists a number of sites compatible with it.


Try any number of shopping cart utilities

Start with www.hotscripts.com - Search "Shopping Carts"

It may be you require a custom solution written.....
