Right-click the puppy, click "Turn off the Animation".

Rolls eyes. Geez, why is it so impossible for some users to bother
investigating the options or preference settings for an application?
Super lazy, I guess, and yet they expend the effort to post in Usenet.

Call animal control.

Was this any skin off your back? Why would you take the time, and expend
the effort to reply to post to what you think is such a stupid question. If
I hadn't looked, and couldn't find an answer, I wouldn't have ask. Next
time think before you post.

Not everyone is as smart as you.

Not everyone is as smart as you.

Nothing to do with smarts. Has to do with having some initiative to
actually do some investigation on your own, or just LOOKING. God
forbid they actually *see* the link to "Change preferences" right
there in that left-side panel (which means they are using the
Fisher-Price interface since the animated characters don't show in the
classic Explorer search interface). It's like asking how to switch
off the room light when looking right at the wall with the wall switch
on it. It's right there!

You still are expecting everyone to be as smart as you. Supposing for
example, a person just arrived in the US from
Africa that never saw a light switch? Give the benefit of doubt to the
poster. (be human).
You don't even know the age of the poster.

Then that person hasn't a clue how the light bulbs work in the room,
doesn't even know that they turn off, so they wouldn't be asking how
to turn them off.

There are two sorts of people in the world. Faced with a problem, the
one sort tries to find an answer by themselves. The other sort prefer to
talk to another human being. Most of us are in the second group. Get
used to us, or we'll vote your sort out.

Actually, there are 10 sorts of people, those who understand binary, and
those who don't, but that's off topic.

True! Not as smart as you.
