When i press ctr-alt-delete and look in the applications
tab. it says that i have a program called "pup" runing.
It has the icon of a visual basic program and i have no
idea what its from. im going to try reinstalling my
norton and running a scan to see if its a virus.

It's a nasty porno pop up thing - it plagued me for a while but I blocked it
on my firewall and removed all registry references to it.

I have, I have!! Honest Guv'nor - I have Pest Patrol AND Spybot Search and
Destroy....I was "hit" before I had them! LOL!
