I have been having trouble with some of the elements of the website I built.
i.e. - the forms I create don't work. I have the impression that it is the
way I publish the pages. I use a program called WS_FTP95, which I think
might be bad. What else is out there that I can use for free. Does
FrontPage have a publish feature?

You must http (not ftp) publish to a server that has the FP server
extensions installed in order for forms and other web components to work.

First contact you web host to see if you have the FP extensions installed, etc.

There's a couple of ways you can check yourself as well.

1. Try to open the site in FrontPage with File, Open Site,
http://www.domain.com and if it opens then you have them.
2. Open Internet Explorer and type in your domain name + _vti_inf.html

ex: http://www.mydomain.com/_vti_inf.html

If your site has the FrontPage Extensions it will say"

"FrontPage Configuration Information
In the HTML comments, this page contains configuration information that the
FrontPage Explorer and FrontPage Editor need to communicate with the
FrontPage server extensions installed on this web server. Do not delete this
page."

Although, even if it says that in the browser, if they're corrupt they won't
work right either so in that case you'll need to have your web host repair
them.
