If a web page previews correctly in FP, and once published, works
exactly like it is intended in IE, why would the same page not work in
FF or Netscape? If the script is correct for IE, why isn't it correct
for the others? I'm not a developer nor designer, so please be easy on
me for not knowing anything...

Thanks in advance....Ken

Because each browser renders pages slightly different depending on how they are coded.

If you are talking about the Google Map, then that is a Google issue and not related to using FP.

Also you appear to be working with individual pages without first opening your web / site in FP via
File Menu | Open Web / Site.

Because your page as a lot of the following link, the will only work for you from the PC you design
the page on:

Thanks, Thomas
Under File/ I only have the option File/Open, then I can search the
web for my site, then open the page....is this what you were talking
about that I should do? Edit the page with FP after opening the page? I
wasn't talking specifically about Google but javascript in general, and
the pages are rendered exactly the same on all 3 browsers, except all
of the javascript only works in IE, part of the javascript works in the
other 2. I hope you can understand what I am saying, because I just
barely do!

No sure, File Menu | Open Web or Open Site, then you can either double click in the open dialog to
open your site or you can browse to it.

JavaScript has to be written so that is cross-browser compatibility which is up to the author.
