Hello,

When I insert a comment of summary of file in a page created with FrontPage
and when I publish the page of a server towards another server, the comments
of summary of file do not follow.

Can you help me?

Thank you

they are invisible to the general user - they are comments for your
reference only.

in message Comments are not supposed to show.

That means, if I write any thing in comments box in properties of the file on
server A, when I publish the page on server B, I have to rewrite information
in comments box for the file?

Comments should remaining within the code view of the page, as long as you are not using FP2003's
Optimize HTML function when publishing.

after re-reading the OP, i think Rene is talking about the file properties comments, not comments in html page.

i would "think" they would be saved and not lost. i have no way of trying this right now...so will defer.

Oh, the summary?

Ok, I just tested this, and as long as the site is being published via FP's http mode with Change
Pages Only option selected between servers that have the FP extensions or disk-based webs, the
Summary should also published with the file.

That work, you have to publish the entire Web site to have comment of
summary, not one page only.

Thank you very much Thomas and all of us.
