I used Microsoft Front Page to create my Web Page. When I
published it to the Web, it only comes up correctly in
Internet Explorer not Netscape. My web page is
www.shaffer-mixon.com. Do you have any suggestions of
something I can try to fix this proble?

Thank you,

Your page uses two features that cause such problems:

o Drawing objects, which Netscape doesn't support at all.
o Absolute positioning, which Netscape supports
differently than IE.

Basically, if you want Netscape to display your pages
accurately, you need to redo them without using these
features.

You should always test pages in multiple browsers as you
develop them. This avoids large surprises at the end.

Absolute positioning means using styles to position HTML elements in a page,
by setting a pixel distance between the element and the top-left corner of
the window. As windows vary in size, etc., it can be very tricky to work
with, and isn't universally supported by all browsers - yet.

I'm sorry, what is absolute positioning? is that the same as setting the
pixels in a cell or table?

thanks

When I try to view the page in IE, the MS Office installer runs trying
to install something.

Reinstall MSO (custom - selecting to run all from disc) and or reinstall IE
