publishing to local server

I've installed IIS and FP Server Extensions, but when I
try to publish the web to the local host, I get a message
saying that "there is no such web at that location, do you
want to create one?" I click OK and then it just returns
to the original box to enter the destination address ie:
http//localhost/webname

Any suggestions?

Have you set up and apply extensions to a web under IIS MMC?
