publishing the main page

Hi. I just got frontpage and I'm having problems using
it. I have website and I've created all the pages and
uploaded them onto the website too. However, whenever I
log on instead of going straight to the main/index page
it shows up a white page with Parent Directory then lists
Images followed by the pages I've created. What do I do
to make it so that whenever someone logs onto my site
they go straight to the main page? Please, please help
I'm at my wits end. Thanks.
 
Check with your host and find out the
proper tiltle for the default or index page.

It can be index.html or htm or default.html or htm
depending upon the server.
