Publishing printers in AD.

i am trying to publish our network printers to AD. all of
the printers are on the same member server. i have checked
the box in the printer settings on the server to publish
to AD listing. when i try to locate a printer in AD, none
of them show up. i installed one of the printers onto a GC
box, and set it to publish to AD. it shows up, why does
the same printer from the member server and all my other
printers not show up in AD?
 
are u sure the member server is able to locate the domain?

thy the following.
in act dir users and computers enable the view users and computers as
containers. and enable the advanced view
then browse to the member server where you published the printer on.
on the right hand pane, the printer object should show up.
check the rights of the object, do the appropriate people have the right to
see this object?

if the object does not show up, the you lost me there...

yes, the member server can find the domain. i can print

from the printers, i just cannot publish them in AD. i
tried what you suggested, i do not see any printers
listed under the member print server. i do see the one
printer i installed on the GC though.
