How do I get printers published in the directory?

When you look at the printer properties, the box that
says 'list in the directory' is ticked.

If I right click a container in the directory and go 'new
printer' and type in the path ie \\server\share - I just
get an error message (I've forgotten the exact message)

None of the printers are 'physically' connected to the
server.

Thanks

Marco

The printers will be in AD Users and Computers MMC, you
just have to find them. To do this, click on the view
menu and enable 'view users, groups and computers as
containers'. Then go to the OU where the print server(s)
are and expand to see shared printers below it. You can
then move these to where you want them (they are with the
print server by default).

PS. MS knowledge base has futher info on publishing and
searching for printers by location etc
