Publishing my site

When I am publishing my site to the server via http instead of ftp the files
are uploading with file extensions as url's instead of extensions as htm or
html. why?

Can someone please help me?

Your site is hosted on an Apache/Unix server with FrontPage extensions.
Unless you want to run some scripts on the server, you need to make the form submit to an email
address associated with your domain name.
In your web master control panel create an email account and then send the form results to it:
(e-mail address removed)
or
(e-mail address removed)

Whatever email account name you want.
