Publishing Forms to Public Folders

I have some questions on publishing forms to a public folder in Outlook.

- Is this the best way to "distribute" a custom email form to a wide
community ?
- Is the ability to publish a form to a public folder going away in future
versions ?

No, a message form must be published to the Organizational Forms or Personal Forms library. Think about it: A message with a custom form arrives in your Inbox -- how would Outlook know to look for the published form definition in a particular public folder.

Not unless forms support itself goes away in some future version.

Thanks Sue,
I need to clarify what I mean by form.
We have a form that will be used by senders only. It will insert newlines so
that no line goes beyond 80 characters. We need to have it available for
users who need this particular functionality. The idea is to have them use
New->Choose Form to retrieve this form.

If the form has functionality required only by senders, not by recipients, then yes, publishing to a public folder would be appropriate. They can then use the Actions menu on that folder to launch the form.
