When I try to access my remote site, I frequently get the error message,
"cannot open 'httpd.frontpage.conf' for reading." About half the time, I can
get on via dialog requesting user name and password. My web hosting company
has been of not help at all.

1) The FrontPage server extensions may be corrupt, and need to be repaired
or re-installed.

2) Are you running a Firewall or AV (or Yahoo IM) that may be blocking that
port?

Tom,
The hosting company cited the "corrupt" FPE and proceeded to reinstall them
twice. That didn't help. My access is not blocked 100%, but only about 50% or
the time.
