Hi,
Is it possible to alter the filename automatically appended when you enter a
URL to publish a calendar to the internet? It seems to default to
firstname_secondname.ics I need to change this to userid.ics for it to work
with our online CRM system. When you try and specify a filename you get an
error message, outlook wants to know the path but add its own filename.
Can it be done?

Is this with an exchange or POP3 acct? It should use the acct alias in the
AD if exchange.

This is in an exchange environment.

Is there a way to change the filename without changing the AD account alias?

I don't understand why Outlook wants to decide what the internet calendar
should be called.

AFAIK, you can't change it. Outlook uses the alias because it helps to
insure unique names - when publishing to a local server the username/alias
will be unique since its pulled from the AD.
