Please help!! We got front page and I pretty much have the home page done and
have all the various pages and links completed with the individual pages "under
construction". I have now run into the problem of getting this thing published
and am totally lost. We got our website (mortonsmotorsports) through network
solutions, but they claim they do not offer the option to upload or download a
website, nor do they permit the use of an outside HTML editor. I got PageMake
for Dummies and the keep talking about URL and WPP, but I am not sure which way
to turn on this. I feel that once I know how to get this thing published,
finishing it and adding to it will be a breeze, but until that point in time I
am going crazy!! Please help in any way you can or if you know where I can go
please let me know that too. Thanks!!!

Now that you have registered your domain name, you need to local a web host
that support the FP extensions, then you can use FP to publish the site to
this.

The host that I use and recommend can be found from the YCOLN(tm) Hosting
link on my site below.

If you would like help with getting you site on line, feel free to contact
me via this email address.

Your statement suggests that Network Solutions has some
sort of tool on their server you must use to develop your
web pages. You are using Front Page so if you want to
stick with Front Page you should look for another web
service provider to host your web site. Your other option
is to scrap your Front Page work and use their tool.

If you stick with Front Page and switch providers, look
for someone who provides Front Page Extensions. These
extensions make the upload process much easier plus they
support some of the features of Front Page.

You also need to focus your efforts in one direction (ie,
web development software program). Think about what your
note said: your provider wants you to use their HTML
editor, you obtain Front Page and run off and develop
your web site with guidance from a book that teaches you
how to use Pagemaker!

Open your web
Click > File > Publish Web > Publish
Test with these 2 addresses;

mortonsmotorsports.com
Or -
216.168.224.63

A book on Step by Step to FP would be helpful if you enjoy reading.
