Publishing a site with Word docs - problem

Hi, I am publishing a site which contains a number of word documents.
However each time I publish the site the word docs are published again even
though no changes have been made to them. I tried the recalc hyperlinks
feature, but no change.

Quick scenario : Upload site - 6 word docs also upload. after a few seconds
hit publish again and only the word docs upload.

Site works fine but this is annoying and wasteful of bandwidth - any tell me
what I have done wrong or what is going wrong that the word docs keep
uploading ?

Hi,

I didnt resolve the problem, but I replaced some of the word docs with pdfs
and text docs and these have worked fine.

Suspect some problem with the Word docs and Server Extensions...
