In Microsoft Access 2000 - go to Office Links and Publish with MS Word - get
the following error: Microsoft Office Access can't save the output date to
the file you've selected.
*The file may be open. If so, close it, and than save the output data to
the file again.
*If you are using a template, check to make sure the template exists.
*If the file isn't open, check to make sure that you have enough free disk
space.
*Make sure that the file exists on the path specified.
*check to make sure you have permission to write to the specified folder.

None of these are true - the file isn't open, not using a template, I have
enough free disk space, the specified path exists and I have Administrator
permissions. I can't figure it out - I have two other Computers exactly like
the one I'm having the problem on and they work fine. The only difference is
that on the other two computers it allows you to save the file.

I have some users who are having this same problem with an Access 2003
database. Every once and a while they get the error below that the output
could not be saved. I have checked when this happens and the document they
are overwriting is not opened or set to readonly. They do have write
permissions to the folder, and if they exit out of the database and reenter
and try again the report saves without problem.

Is there else other then what is in the error message to look for?

Thanks,

J.J.
